This Privacy Policy describes how Sonam Industries ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects information processed through the Sonam Industries Order & Dispatch Management System ("the App"), developed by DKMV TechX Consulting LLP. The App is an internal business tool and is not open to the general public.

2. Information We Collect

The App collects and processes the following categories of information:

• Account information: Email address and role (salesman or admin), created and managed by Sonam Industries.
• Order data: Customer names, products ordered, quantities, delivery dates, and any notes entered during order creation.
• Usage data: Timestamps of orders placed and actions performed within the App.

The App does not collect payment card details, Aadhaar or government ID numbers, or any sensitive personal data as defined under applicable law.

3. How We Use the Information

Information collected through the App is used solely for:

• Processing and dispatching customer orders placed by authorised salesmen.
• Generating dispatch summaries for internal operations.
• Maintaining an order history for review and reconciliation.
• Ensuring the security and integrity of the App.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform with row-level security controls. Access to data is strictly limited by user role — salesmen can only view their own orders, and admin access is separately controlled. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest by the database provider.

5. Data Retention

Order and usage data is retained for as long as required for business operations and record-keeping. User accounts are deactivated when an individual's authorised relationship with Sonam Industries ends. Retained data is stored securely and access-controlled.

6. Access & Correction

If you believe any information held about you in the App is inaccurate, please contact your Sonam Industries administrator. Administrators can update account details and order records as required.

7. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party infrastructure providers:

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Vercel — application hosting and delivery.

These providers process data solely to deliver the App's functionality and are bound by their own privacy and security policies.

8. Cookies & Local Storage

The App uses cookies strictly for authentication session management. No tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies are used.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
